I was looking into UU but if it's a Socialist ploy to bring about Socialist political action then I will be very Disapointed. If UU is truly about love and freedom of belief which includes political and religious freedom, UU can not and must not promote socialist politics. Duing so will ignore those who do not agree with socialism and UU will become another tyranical Church using power through Government to force ideals upon peoples. Love is one thing, forcing "love" through law is wrong!

@lefthandko Do you believe that Baptists (or any other evangelical denomination) should refrain from promoting Capitalist politics? If they did wouldn't they be ignoring those who disagree with Capitalism.

 In my area I attended a church service where the pastor directed his congregation to vote for Michelle Bachmann as THE Christian candidate.I've never heard of a Unitarian minister trying such a tactic.

Great. Too bad you can not SEE how enthusiastic the audience is. I was there, so I know. And there were many other great things too. Next year is the 50th GA. Do you intend to attend?
