It's not that hard to get a expert time trial all you need to do is that you need to beat the staff gost at least 3-8 seconds before them depending on the size of the map

It's super easy to beat expert staff ghost let alone unlocking them. I'm a pro at mkw because I play everyday. I'm top 10 time for rainbow road hehe! :)

heres a tip: If many of u find the B Dasher extremely hard to drift yet handle, i'll hav u know that Peach gets an extra drifting bonus which should help. I always choose Peach when using a B Dasher...

wait a minute.... at beggining of races, i get a start-up-boost right after i hold on to A right after the 2 comes up...... is it different for your mario kart? do you have the UK version?(not saying its bad or anything). Or is it just the Sprinter that has to hold on to A at the beggining? Well, anyways i beat for then 24 staff ghosts and i still haven't gotten the Sprinter..... can somebody tell me why if they know whats the problem? i even doublechecked my time trials and i beat more then 24

@amcheung10 There's two ways to get a boost, and I used to use this method, which is less reliable. I actually don't just hold down the accelerate button, I let go of it just after 1 and then reapply it before the "GO"

One of the best combinations to use to unlock this kart is to use King Boo, And Bowser bike, If you haven't got it, You should get it, I litterally got Baby Luigi, Toadette, B Dasher, Funky kong all by it

Just practice your times in every single course and you can easily unlock them. At least in European version there is only need to unlock normal stuff ghost with 7 seconds.

Its not so hard to defeat normal stuff ghosts and when you practise you will get it. I trained all circuits more than 3 days to gain that car. Trust me its not so hard after all.

It's not just defeating the ghost, it's getting "A fast ghost/expert ghost (depending on version) has appeared" to show up. If you get 24 of those you unlock the B-Dasher.

Are you sure you haven't just beaten the staff ghosts? Because to unlock the B-Dasher you have to unlock 24 staff ghosts, which means you have to beat the normal staff ghosts by 3-10 seconds depending on the course.

Either you have to load up your licence again to unlock it, so basically next time you load up the game you should unlock it, or you haven't unlocked at least 24 expert ghosts, and I'd imagine you haven't done that, go and double check that you've definitely done it on 24 tracks.

im using king boo w/ the spear (he has a handling bonus and the spear's handling is horrible)

Use the Magikruiser as it has a high offroad rating. You basically don't slow down in the shallow water with the Magikruiser, so you can use it to take massive shortcuts

(replying to LegoFan970) I had massive trouble with that circuit as well. I used Toadette with the Magikruiser and I pretty much owned. It's got good off-roading so that means you can go on the shallow water a lot without being massively slow, and using wheelies a lot will get you VERY ahead by about 5-6 seconds. Using Manual helps too if you normally use Automatic.

To unlock the expert staff ghost on that trial, I'm pretty sure you need to be ahead by well over 5-7 seconds. Good luck.

expert ghost is a ghost that is a lot tougher than the normal ghost. You unlock expert ghosts by beating the normal ghosts.

Well you've got to beat the ghosts by 3-10 seconds depending on the course. If you're stuck on how to beat a time, download the world champion's ghost and watch what he does.

Nope, it's not a glitch, you'd unlocked the Rally Romper by the sounds of it.
