Question... Is there a reason why you have the mic in the center of the room vs in a corner of it? Wouldn't having it in a corner get rid of the natural reverb in the room... typically rooms with nothing on the walls have too much reverb, no? Or are the walls insulated/ soundproofed and it doesn't matter...
@mrtrin I hear exactly what you are saying. You put a mic in the middle of an empty room and the sound bounces like crazy. In my case, my studio has a lot of stuff on the inside so the sound doesn't bounce. Actually the mic isn't even in the center of the room, it's closer to the wall.
