  • He throws like a baseball pitcher

  • At least he doesn't throw like tim tebow

  • horn, white, robinson, and jenkins in one team???

  • he can throw 2 miles man 2 long miles not 1 mile 2 miles

  • Great arm, Terrible feet. The very definition of a statue.

  • Overrated. I'm sorry. Didn't show enough when he was with Jacksonville to impress me. Y'all can have your own opinions.

  • Someone should tell him that he's not playing as a pitcher

  • Man, this guy has a precise arm, but with the shittiness of the Steelers offensive line, this dude is probably going to go 4-23 for completions.

  • I once asked for Byron Leftwich to throw me a pass because i thought it'd be cool to catch a ball from a professional athlete. I made and ate a turkey sandwich and played 2 games of solitaire while he wound up...

  • the windmill is jsut awsome

  • He may not be the best, but his throwing motion is just awesome to watch.

Just like some weapon. Charging, charging and BOOM!

  • byron is a good QB theres proof he just needs to find the team that will will believe in him

  • Leftwitch come to the Eagles!!!! i bet if he had good protection he wouldve won a sb.

  • He all ready got one with the Steelers

  • **the wind up and the pitch!**

  • kid is a stud

  • Windwich

  • ugliest fucking release in the history of football

  • not ugliest, just really really really long and drawn out, but he can throw it a fricken mile

  • Threw a damn fastball though!

  • WINDMILL!!

  • He was my Fav QB since he played for marshall, still is my Fav QB

Hope he gets the Starting Job over Mccown, mccown is a waste of time qb who couldn't aim a football if if had a scope on it

Not to mention, the Falcons then had my fav RB Warrick Dunn, and one of my fav recievers Joe Horn

Loved the Falcons that year and im a New yorker, Giants, not Jets

  • look at 0:58 he didnt score his knee was on the ground

  • It doesn't matter if his knee was on the ground because he was never touched.

    Go Bucs!

  • no contact though

  • @LittleElvisAndMe He wasnt down by contact my friend

  • holy fuck ! he played for the falcons ?

  • Leftwhich be even more awesome if he didnt have that crazy wind up type of throw. if he could work on his release time to get rid of it quicker he would be great. at least he'll get his chance to start this year in Tampa Bay.

  • his arm power would go down dramatically

  • not necessarily, because there are plenty of qb's with rocket arms with quick release time. roethlisberger, warner, brees, flacco, manning. and most of those names dont sacrifice there power or accuracy.

  • No. Byron Leftwich's extra UMPF comes from his wind up. Take that away and you get an average arm QB.

Know how? Imagine having that for your whole life. That wind-up release... which creates more torque.. and changing into a faster release with less torque..

    you get a weaker arm.

  • yea, now that you put into the perspective of him having that technique all his life, it would be hard to un train it. well when it boils down to it, "what aint broke, dont fix it", lol. all in all, i'm glad he's gonna get his chance to start. believe me, he will be the "guy" in Tampa. and backing him up will be Freeman, and not Johnson, unfortuanately.

  • Byron has a chance to be a great QB. Guy is one tough mother.. but he needs a good team, which he didn't have during his time with the Jags.. Now i don't really follow Tampa but I believe they have a pretty good offense going.

  • well right now, Tampa is rebuilding. Garcia is out of the picture. they just drafted Freeman in the first round. BUT, the new head coach is the former "pupil" of our Coach, Mike Tomlin when he was down there in Tampa. So i see him taking Leftwich over Freeman, cuz i feel he'll be more comfortable working with a former Steeler because of his relationship with Tomlin. But ya never know. Tampa took Freeman in the first round for a reason, so we will see.

  • TO train Freeman, they are going to need a great QB coach and coordinator.

He may not a be smart QB, but he did amazingly well in a team that had changed coaches every year and had no offensive talents.

  • true, but you cant train experience. but its risky to start him because Leftwich has already proved he can get it done, and also, he'll have the pressure on him cuz two other rookie qb's did so well, he'll have that expected of him. if he doesnt produce, he'll go soooooo far down hill.on the other hand leftwich has been waiting FOREVER to get his chance, i feel he'll run with it and never look back.

  • "if it aint broke, don't fix it"

yeah, it looks pretty broke when he gets sacked because he not only is a statue but has a release that allows the defender an extra second

  • Wait a minute...this is the NEW ORLEANS SAINTS DEFENSE...they make everyone look like Joe Montana. Trust me, I'm a life long Saints fan. This is not fooling anyone.

  • CANNON ARM

  • Oh no, Nutitch did you hurt yourself. I am so sad and shaken up. Nutitch should have his leg chopped off and maybe he would play better.

  • Congrats to Leftwich for now being a Pittsburgh Steeler! I hope we can drain his brain on anything Jacksonville and learn a few good things for the game against them this year!

  • leftwich is now a steeler

  • if he never got injured he could be top 5 qb

  • Leftwich is not, i repeat, is not one of the top QB's in the league, this guy is hot garbage,if he retired today, would anybody remember him or care for that matter, i think not!!!

  • i really feel sorry for this guy, hes a good guy and a very hard worker, and its unfortunate that all the bad things happen to him... yes hes a bust, but hopefully he'll be like a tommy maddox, just has An amazing year that he could look back on, because im sure hed be haunted the rest of his life if he looks back on hiis career without having the chance to prove ppl wrong when they said he sucked.

  • Byron Leftwhich would be good, if not for injuries. His arm is a cannon and has good accuracy. But his release is SLOW.

  • Leftwich is deffinently one of the top QBs when he is not injured. He has a great arm, accuracy and has good pocket precense

  • there is no doubt about the throw power of Leftwich, he has a effing CANNON. However, if you cant stay healthy...then your not worth the risk that gets placed on a starting QB's shoulders. Its really sad to see this happen to such a talented player...him, and chicago bears saftey mike brown are playmakers...when they are on the field. If only they could avoid the injury bug.

  • Hell of an arm but not on of my top 10 QB's.

  • hes a glass cannon

hell of an arm but injury prone

i can only imagine wat tht game wuld have ended up like if leftwich stayed in

  • he has got one hell of an arm

  • Screw Byron Leftwich, he's worthless. GOsh Blank wasted money on this loser. He should drop out of the NFL and never play again. Maybe in AFL or CFL but never NFL.

He may try his luck in Baseball, look at his throw

  • lol "will smith" injured him

  • vick is a qb who goy sumthn up on his sleeves!

  • he needs some speed or a good oline is what he needs

  • my fav quaterback he needs a ring
