  • That's not canceling, that's just taking advantage of the fact that Ganondorf doesn't have to recoil from that particular move if done a certain distance from the ground. A alot characters can't do that with their down-A attack.

  • en primer lugar esta chido el video, en segundo acaso es igual a que saltes en corto y caes rápido para poder realizar combos??? me suena a que uno debe saltar en corto para poder acortar tiempo en aterrizar, pero weno, no entendi pero da igual, oye, y una pregunta acaso sabes como hacer cancelaciones como por ejemplo que vas corriendo y como que resbalas, un ejemplo es snake, con arriba+z en el cubo, lo podrias explicar??

  • It really isn't, i've played ssb, and ssbm for such a long time now, i developed this technique by myself without even knowing it.

    As for brawl? i'm still deciding wether i should get that game or not.

    firts of all u dont need to jump again the only trick there is to hit the A button the moment you jump so that the animation completly finish before u hit the ground

    and u cant use it with all the attacks because the game is to fucking slow

    there should be a patch to improve brawl

  • Totally agree man, brawl for me is not a hard core game, is to slooooow, the character are really heavy, yep Melee is the best

  • Hey noob. Why don't you shut your mouth and try the at before you flame vids. He did not speed it up. He simply short hopped and d'aired at the same time. Canceling lag. Meaning you can continuously down air with out the enormous amount of lag upon landing.

  • Sasuke it's called thunder storming with Ganon, and the whole point of this video was to prove that it is possible lol

    You can do this with all characters and it's the best way to get rid of landing lag. A good example is using this technique with ivysaur's F-air

  • i am a ganon expert when u rapidly use it with him its called thunderstorming/ it was used as in the batkick in ssbm

  • The as you call movement canceling ( but really it's called auto canceling) is not the same thing as L canceling in melee. AC: you do the attack before you hit the groung, L canceling: press L, Z, or R when you land to reduse lag.

    RIGHT after you do a short hop, Dair immediatly.

  • Sorry, but all this is, is forcing one to figure out the calculated areal landing lags for certain attacks. Not NEARLY as deep or complex as it was in 64 or melee.

  • Its to cut down on the frame rate; thus, allowing you to do the same move half the time. Very good trick to do with all chars

  • i dont think the technique works. he is simply initiating the down air a bit faster without fast falling. if this technique did work, it would work on his forward air. i will give money to the person who figures out how to cancel that move, because i dont think its possible. props to figuring out the downair has frames of no lag though, i thought i had to full hop the down air to avoid lag so good job on that :]

    i guess in brawl it should be called lag cancel though cuz l-cancelling was removed

  • L stands for Lag Cancel.

    Oh, thats not L-Canceling by the way..those are IASA(Interuptable As Soon As) frames for certain moves for certain characters which was also in melee. It means that you can perform a a jump or a movement during the landing animation.So prety much, the attack frames of the move is complete before the animation is complete, allowing IASA frames. So if anything, its would be called an Animation Cancel rather than a Lag Cancel.

  • Brawl doesn't take as MUCH SKILL. I mean, you could sit there, shield and jam your C-stick down as soon as someone hits you. Or just grab them, over and over again.

  • no not taking skill meaning its easy to do well through random button inputs. IE button mashing. Melee took alot of technical skill.

    What is the official name of the technique. Someone called it Arial canceling, I just watched one called movement canceling. Arial sounds better though.

  • I hate how easy it is to short hop in brawl!!!!!! I decided that brawl was n00bish so I went back to melee, and I had to practice for a whole 3 days to get short hopping back into my game

  • oye que padre que que este al español aun no pruebo tu tecnica pero parese que ayudara mucho en mi caso supongo que yoshi puede hacer esa tecnica pero no se si tengas algo que tenga que ver con incrementar la velosidad del personaje ya que yoshi tarda mucho en hacer ataques aereos y pues de ahi empiesan todos sus combos saludos gran aporte

  • i dont get it. people like this game more than melee because apparently its more balanced, no so called glitches and advance tech. but if that the case, why are vids like these posted on youtube? itll only turn brawl into another melee.the game most people hate for its game mechanics

  • look guys ill make it easier all u have to do is instead of using y or x to jump use the JOY STICK TO JUMP & THEN USE DOWN C STICK SMASH u can even use that move forward or backwards like u were walking
