you seem to think this choice is either a) or b) but you should look at the details. your numbers sound good on the surface. but it is EXTREMELY difficult to believe that drilling would create 750k new positions. what's ur source? also, you can see how quickly this argument deflates. you say $135 oil - try $105 and dropping. you don't even address the fact that oil companies aren't even using ALL the land they have now. Good point. I heard from someone tonight on the news that Obama is going against the typical protocol by attacking the Palin instead of allowing Biden to do that for him en masse. I just hope this creates more energy that McCain and Palin can use to their advantage. I also heard that Obama is not getting as much in fundraising now either. I think that you can not judge a leader on a couple of their extreme supporters, that is like saying one person that isn't even running is why you should not vote for Barack. And 75% of alaskans that support the exploration, that is like 20 people. Honestly, I probably have more people in the city which I live then in Alaska.
All you mentioned was some economy, mostly the gas/oil dilema, but what about the war?

I would also like to point out that although African-Americans "legally" gained their right to vote prior to women, these rights were systematically blocked by racist policymakers until the late 1960s, and in some cases beyond that.
This woman is a religious zealot. To call a vote for McCain/Palin a feminist vote is nothing short of absurd.

I still can't understand why everyone is rising this woman into sainthood because she chose to carry her son to full term knowing that he would be born with Down's Syndrome. People do this EVERY DAY. Beyond that, pro-choice people do this every day. Though I understand the difficulty of hearing that one's child will be disabled, I don't believe that there is anything saintly about choosing not to terminate a pregnancy for that reason. Especially with those that have the means (money) to do so.
