All this is sold separately. The hot hand wah wireless "ring" is for sale for about $110.
Bass Envelope Filter(NON PRO) is about $120 and the Multiwave Distortion is the same price also NON PRO. The Pros are about $230....so you could get started for about $350.
Does the ring come with the Envelope Filter and/or the Bass Distiortion pedals? Would be nice to know if it has to be bought separately, or else it's another week of waiting for the mail :P
could you make a system that works just with pedals?
this hot hand thing is awkward, i want to feel the bass strings when i play, its like masturbation without hands, sorry for the word phrase, it just annoys me that i cant use this awesome technology without the hot hand
I'm gonna buy the things needed to play dubstep-bass, but the problem is that it will cost like 300 euro or something, and that's pretty much money for someone without job... :(
I recently purchased the hot hand and bass envelope. However, I notice that in your video you don't have to pick to get a wobble back. The only way I get a wobble is when I actually pick the strings. Any help would be appreciated.
in addition to Haavard993's question...if i had the source audio bass envelope filter pro equipped with hot hand and added a boss distorton pedal to my pedal board for that dirty distorted tone i can still get the wobble and modulation control the hot hand offers correct? the hot hand would obviously be connected to the source audio pedal, and boss pedal is just an added effect.
Just got the standard BEF- sending it back and using extra $ to get BEF pro so I can get dubstep. Do I need the multiwave or is that just for extra tone?
I am a bit confused. What do I need to use the Hot Hand? Those shown in this video, are they neccessary to use the Hot Hand, or are they just the effects?
If, say, I use only the Hot Hand Wah Filter, and add effect pedals of my choice, would I be able to make the same effect? Or even use it?
Or do I have to connect it to other products by SourceAudio?
alright source audio, i ordered the envelope filter with hot hand and a petal, get ready to get some free advertisement. I tried to order off amazon at first but they could not ship to my house for some reason, thats my only complaint but i got them from 8th street music
Hold on its about $220 to buy which is £140 so why in the U.K is nearly £200. I love the look and sound of the Envelope Pedal but that price difference is a bit steep isn't it?
@sourceaudioeffects Fair enough on that one, I was just curious because it seemed I bit strange. I'll start saving for them now. Might be able to get the for the cheaper price in America if I ever go on holiday over there and bring em back :P If the airport will allow it XD
@liamtaylor93 you should be fine...we travel with these hooked up to pedal boards literally looking like bombs with cables running between them and we've never had a problem.
@liamtaylor93 Well you're doing better than us in Norway. Over here I've only found one store who sells it, and they only had one left, which had been used as a demonstration in their store. And on top of that, they cost about 4 times as much as in America
i would really love a response from you guys, but what would happen if i bought both of these pedals with the hot hand but plugged up a guitar...? (standard guitar, not bass)
@ACDCwarmachine well there is a guitar version of the Multiwave and a non-Pro guitar version of the envelope filter. Of these two pedals, you would have better results plugging your guitar into the BEF Pro.
if you buy the hot hand ring on it's own, can you use it, because i already got an boss overdrive and an DOD envelope filter, and i'm a little short on cash, because i saw the Source Audio Hot Hand Wireless Adapter on rock-gear.de for only 90 euros or something, so is it possible?, really wanna know because that thing rocks!!

@bloodclot86 yes...just make sure that the distortion comes before the BEF in the signal chain and you'll be good to wobble!

I guess any 4 conductor 1/8 cable will do, to daisy the two, right?
You dont show them on your official site and all i find on Ebay is a cable way too long for nothing.
Does the daisy chain cable come with the hot hand?

@liamtaylor93 unfortunately we have very little control over the cost overseas. Duties and import fees can drive the cost up pretty high.
