@Samuraiedge2.Those balloons are not really balloons,that was an armor.It was called Horo made from silk and hard bamboo.They wear on their back for any ambushing arrows.It was usually semi circle shaped

OK I have not yet played Shogun 2, but form my experience in Shogun (1) , you could have made more archers, focused on your economy earlier in the game (because as the game goes armies drain every penny you have) and as for your current situation you could have sent a small contingent to fake an attack on the province you lost, so you keep the ennemy's troops pinned down while your bulk cleans up your newly acquiered province. And send your ninja to spy on the province further to the north.

please level up your ninjas and generals. it really helps in the long run. open up the detail panel on them and hit the flashing up arrow near the top. also be sure to give them a retainer in the bottom left when the button is flashing.

you seem to have rushed into this campaing without checking anything or seemingly knowing what to do. you are bankrupt yet in the beginning you pumped out units as if you had all the money in the world without even looking at your finances and you still aren't looking at your finances. you also upgraded like 2 buildings then stopped. i assume you will realize you are bankrupt when you see you have 0 cash and are making negative income(which is about to happen)

The rebel army was hiding in the trees, that's why you couldn't see them. Plus, I highly doubt the Hattori can start anywhere on the map. Historically they were based exactly where you are now, in Iga.

Well they're Tsutsui rebels, they're the remnants of the town rising up to fight their new leaders. Same as how if you captured a Takeda settlement and then they rose up, you'd then have Takeda rebels.

When I first loaded the game it was lagy but I could still see markers (i.e. the red cone for ranged units etc.) so I tuned down the graphics a little, then I load a custom battle to test how things were looking, to my dismay there were no MARKERS. I went in to the option to check it out and it said that the markers are on. If there is anyone who could help me out that would be great.

U wanna focus slightly more on bushido because u WILL need it later on. Also stop hoarding the yari ashigaru. U need more archers. Also ur economy is shit. Every army u train means u earn less nxt round. soon u wont be able 2 finance new armies. Also DO NOT loot so early on. U need ur towns at full strength early in the game.

Good you did go for stabilizing the region instead of retaking the settlement. It was defended very well and you would have lost a lot of units.

Once they left the castle you should have marched an army to the border and hid it in the woods, so you could attack next turn. Not let them know that you're coming.
