Yeah, build it! I'm sure you'l find boatbuilding to be one of the most rewarding things in life. I built a 15 ft dory in the car port of a motel, it was a great boat. Now I'm building the boat I wanted to build since I was 12, now I'm 66. Great project for the kids. I will never forget building a 12 ft rowboat with my dad. Oh yeah, I also traped gophers and built muskets out of waterpipe. I had really cool parents, they supported all my adventures. I'll be watching your progress.
