  • And on that note: GO PACK GO! WOOHOO!

  • @PathOfJioFreed

And the Socialists Win the Super Bowl!!!!!111ONEONE

  • @17R3W You're a real tool. Seriously.

  • @PathOfJioFreed

Perhaps. But the Packers still won.

  • @17R3W Which makes them socialist how?

  • @PathOfJioFreed

The Packers are the only non-profit, community-owned franchise in American professional sports major leagues.

  • @17R3W That's not socialist, that's fan-owned. It's a democratic setup for how it works, they elect an executive to run things. Big whoop-de-doo.

  • @17R3W Now that's not true. The Vikings have no profit either!

  • @rillegas08

No profit is different then non-profit.

But that's clever. +2 internets for you

  • @17R3W Based on his epic fail speech to the Chamber of Commerce, "no profit" is what Obama wants for US companies. He wants it all.

  • @17R3W To be socialist, they would need to be owned and operated by the City of Green Bay government. That isn't how it works.

  • Wikileaks thing was pretty good.

I was wondering where she was going, but it was a very centrist joke.

It's a tough subject to joke about when your audience is mainly conservatives and Republicans.

Conservatives are going to be "pro" Wikileaks because conservatives are pro truth.

Republicans are going to be "anti" Wikileaks because Republicans are pro status-quo.

  • @17R3W -And you know this is "truth" because...? You only know what Assange lets you know.

  • @PathOfJioFreed

Well it's not Assange, it's the troops telling of us this stuff.

It's sort of like me ordering a pizza, and saying, "yeah, I ordered a pizza from AT&T" because I used a phone.

Wikileaks is just the infrastructure, the troops are the source of truth.

  • @17R3W One soldier. One. Who was angry because he was picked on for being gay. Yippee. Bottom line is Assange releases these things at his pleasure. He selects what is and is not released. You know only what he wants you to, and when he states from the get-go that he wants to humiliate us, then yeah, I don't trust him anymore than I trust the government.

That little thing called truth is somewhere in the middle.

  • @PathOfJioFreed

My understanding is that he is releasing it all, just bit by bit.

A typical legal trick to bury people in paper work. If I have one page that shows I've done something wrong, I'll hide in a million pages of non sense.

Giving it out bit by bit makes perfect sense to me, as long as it all get out.

  • @17R3W And what happens if you have four pages of what you did right for every one page of wrongs and yet someone makes certain all that's ever seen are the wrongs? the only way to prove they're lying, or even that they altered something, would be to release it yourself, which is counter-productive. Assange is a little parasite, nothing more.

  • @PathOfJioFreed

To me it's less about Assange and more about more about the facts. Like I said, this is a difficult issue, and one where conservatives split with Republicans.

  • @17R3W Not really. I'm a conservative. I know that Assange is a lying dishonest little attention whore. Simple as that. :)

  • @PathOfJioFreed

Okay, that's a fair point, but you wouldn't be "anti-truth"?

If there was a trust worthy source of information, you'd probably be in favor of it.

  • @17R3W Patriots are against anything that might bring harm to our troops. I am against wikileaks even though the latest round was mostly an embarrassment for Obama.

  • 1:18 LOLOLO

  • @NEWSBUSTED THANKS AGAIN. GOOD JOB ALWAYS

  • That last part was TOTALLY hilarious! Riht on Jodi!

  • That was probably one of my favorite newsbusters ever

  • Go newsbusted

    Fuck obama

  • @CesarMania Hhahahahahhaha Read a book dufuss.

  • @Auggie56 Reagen increased the size of the federal government

    He raised taxes 11 times

    he gave amnesty to illegals

    He tripled the deficit

he signed the largest tax increase in history

he called for a world without nuclear weapons

he traded arms for hostages (he negoitated with terrorists)

  • @CesarManiaX Most of that was Congress, and there's such a thing as being pragmatic. And what's with the "he called for a world without nuclear weapons" stuff as a strike against him? You think ANYONE likes nukes?

  • @CesarManiaX Reagan lowered taxes, radically. He went from a top marginal rate of around 80% to one in the twenties. Any increase that might have come later pales in comparison.

The Democrat-controlled congress tripled the deficit.

  • @Auggie56

Look up everything he just said.

  • @CesarManiaX

What the hell are you talking about? You troll.

  • @CesarManiaX ROFL Idiot...

  • @CesarManiaX

yeah, I've been saying for a while that Reagan would be two liberal for Republican party, and even a little two liberal for the Democrats.

I heard Cenk echo that statement today.

The trouble is that the Republicans are far right, so when Obama governs center right, it seems like he's center left. Find me another conservative party in the world that is anti universal health care, anywhere else in the world.

  • @17R3W European conservative parties support universal healthcare

  • @CesarManiaX Who gives a crap. When this becomes europe, we'll let you know. BTW, this is AMERICA!

  • @armeav8r

The point is, Republicans are out of touch with mainstream conservatism.

In a country that is "center left", there are two political parties. One center right (Democrats) and one FAR right (Republicans).

  • @17R3W What fun house mirror are you looking at the country in? Most Americans described themselves as center-right. More and more of them are seeing how out of touch the far left-wing Democrat party really is, hence the butt-kicking they took in November.

  • @jtkirkfan2002

Most American's will identify themselves as center right, only because they don't know what it means to be center left.

Issue by issue, Americans are center left. On issue like taxes, health care, military spending, dadt, jobs (outsourcing). The thing is they've been taught that Liberal is a dirty word, so they don't use it.

  • @17R3W People want lower taxes and a simplfied system. I completely reject your CBS/NYT poll since it is way out of whack with other polls of the same subject. When people are taught exactly how much "free" healthcare from the gov'ment is really going to cost them, they change their tune in a hurry. It's the Democrat party, that far left bunch of radicals from the Obama/Pelosi/Reid/Frank wing, who are out of touch and November proved it.

  • @jtkirkfan2002

69% believe the government should care for those who can't care for themselves.

2:1 believe the gov should provide many more services, even if spending increases.

77% think congress should increase minimum wage

66% upper income people pay too little in taxes

53% Believe the Bush tax cuts have failed, because they've increase the deficit

61% support embryonic stem cell research

62% want to protect Reo V wade

60% feel fed govt should have some restrictions on guns

  • @17R3W That's what you get when you poll a bunch of spongy Democrats. They take polls during the day, when conservatives are all at work.

BTW, it was runaway spending that increased the deficit, not tax cuts. You lib's always fail to mention that during the Kennedy tax cuts, the Reagan tax cuts and the Bush tax cuts, Treasury revenues increased each time by RECORD levels. Tax cuts put more people to work and more people paying taxes.

  • @jtkirkfan2002

It’s unclear how much of the growth can be attributed to the tax cuts. Capital gains tax receipts did increase greatly from 2003 to 2006, but the CBO estimates that they will level off and decrease in the next few years. The growth overwhelmingly resulted from a sharp rise in corporate tax receipts, the cause of which is a topic of debate.

    - Fact Check dot org

  • @17R3W Income tax revenues went up each time as well. Reagan's tax restructuring DOUBLED Treasury revenues. That wasn't all capital gains.

  • @jtkirkfan2002 Not to forget that Under Reagan Americas total wealth tripled! It went from a mere $17 trillion to $54 Trillion when he left office! The middle class actually became comfortable!

  • @jtkirkfan2002

The fact is, these include the 60% of Americans that identify themselves as conservative. They been told for 30 years that Liberal is a bad word and yet issue by issue, they almost always take the Liberal side. Sometimes by wide margins.

If 79% of Americans want higher emission standards for vehicles that means that 39% of your 60% want these standards too.

  • @17R3W It's amazing how many of your "liberals" take a completely conservative line when told how much what they want is going to cost them. Public schools, higher education and the media have for the last few decades made a consorted effort to convince the people that the "gov'ment" can provide whatever they desire. Sure I might say that I want better emissions standards until you tell me it will mean $6.00 a gallon gas and add another $10,000 to the sticker of a typical car.

  • If you fire every politician in Washington, you´ll get all the money needed for those projects.

  • @Fridaey13txhOktober Getting rid of the politicians wouldn't even make a good dent. However I am totally and catgorically against what most liberals think that the "gov'ment" should provide.

  • @17R3W There is also the "I want to be nice," factor. Based on how a poll question is asked, and the state-run media knows how to word them, they will often get the answer they want just because to answer any other way makes the person sound "mean". When they get that ballot in private is another story, however - like last November. The "polls" are the only poll that matters.

  • @17R3W sorry, your math and logic is flawed. If 79% of Americans want higher emission standards, that means 79% of the Americans POLLED want this, not 79% of the total US population.

  • @AssholeBlogger

If 60% of Americans POLLED identify themselves as Conservative, but 79% of Americans POLLED also say they want higher emission standards, that means that of that 60%, 39% of those POLLED who identify themselves as conservatives also want higher emission standards.

  • @17R3W Nobody wants to pollute!

  • @RecceMan90

Fair enough, one could argue that higher emissions standards are a fairly centrist issue.

  • @17R3W Yep I am a complete Right Winger....I don't believe in polluting just because I can! I believe in conservation, and responsible use. What makes me a right winger is I don't need/want the Govt to legislate it!

  • @RecceMan90

Except that higher emissions standards would be government legislation, wouldn't they?

  • @17R3W They shouldn't be. That should be a market place decision. An educated consumer would make the best decisions! I know for a fact that carbon is less harmful to the environment than say prius' batteries. Oxygen is more harmful than Carbon.....Carbon is a natural by product, easily absorbed by the Earth. Electric/hybrids are a very poor choice for most people. They are weak, and not safe. Hydrogen or Natural Gas would be a better choice.

  • @RecceMan90

In terms of carbon, yes it's perfectly natural but when carbon gets too high, all the earth can support is plant life, so you and are screwed.

I think Hyrbrid technology can scale. You could have a hybrid car or a hyrbrid USV.

In terms of electrics, there is a great video of Rush driving an electric car on Leno's show. And while he didn't buy into the concept of it "saving the earth" and he LOVED the car.

  • @17R3W You're forgeting that I have absolutely no faith that any state-controlled media poll was taken with any attempt to be accurate. The only polls that matter are those taken in November. Every one of your "center-left" issues went down in flames in November, 2010. You can quote CBS, AP and the New York Times until you're blue in the face. All three have been caught lying on more than one occasion.

  • 52% believe the govt should invest in renewable energy services

79% want higher emission standards for vehicles

75% would pay more for electricity if it came from a green source

68% favor conversation over more productions (drill baby drill)

69% think the fed govt should insure all Americans have access to health coverage

76% health care is more important then Bush's Tax cuts

3 in 5 would pay more taxes to achieve universal healthcare

Center left on all most every issue!

    2009 - July 2010

  • @17R3W July, 2010 huh? Why then in November, 2010 did every one of these issues go down in flames? I really doubt your source on all of your numbers because it they were true, then conservatives should have had their asses handed to them again and that didn't happen. We made substantial gains in Washington, but also in the states. There are more state legislatures and governors' offices under Republican control now than at any time in history. cont'

  • @17R3W Polls taken by the state-contolled media don't even phase me. They take the poll in order to make the news that they want to report. They skew their samplings and even lie to get the percentages they want. If you want to continue to quote your numbers, that frankly I've never heard of before you pulled them out of some dark nether region, go ahead, but it won't change the fact that this is a center-right nation with conservatives haviong the highest percentage of any group.

  • @17R3W keep telling lies to see if it sticks just like the nazi. people are right of center but the real center not the radical left so called center.

  • @CesarManiaX

Exactly. The republican party is to the right of the "mainstream" right.

It Canada it's considered far right to go to a "two tiered" system, in America that's considered left wing.

  • @CesarManiaX So what? European "conservative" parties make our Democrats look like Glen Beck.

  • @17R3W Show me a majority of Americans who support universal health care. Oh right. There isn't one. The government CAN'T handle it. Country after country that has fallen for this nonsense is learning it's lesson. UHC is a radical leftist idea, not mainstream.

  • @jtkirkfan2002

A New York Times/CBS News poll released last week shows, yet again, that the majority of Americans support national health insurance.

The poll, which compares answers to the same questions from 30 years ago, finds that, “59% [of Americans] say the government should provide national health insurance, including 49% who say such insurance should cover all medical problems.”

Only 32% think that insurance should be left to private enterprise.

  • @17R3W The ass-kicking in November that the Democrats took from Republicans who pledged to push for a total repeal of Obamacare would seem to dispute your state-run media poll. The only polls that count are the ones they open in November. Who were the majority of lib's who lost there jobs? They were all blue dog Democrats who voted for Obamacare.

When asked "are you conservative or liberal" consistently around 60% respond "conservative".

  • @jtkirkfan2002

First Obamacare (also known as Romeny-care, aka the Republican compromise of 94) is a right wing idea. The part that's most hated part is the pro-business mandate. A LAW that you have to buy something, does that sound "Liberal" to you?

Poll the public option or socialized medicine and they poll much better.

Again, Liberal is a dirty word, but go issue by issue and people are center left.

  • @17R3W keep telling lies .... it might work.

  • @seabee1950

If you think I'm lying look up anything I've said.

  • @17R3W People want less government spending, not more.

  • @jtkirkfan2002

And classically (excluding the current disappointment in chief) who has done that?

The party of Bill Clinton or the party of "two Santa Clauses"?

  • @17R3W The poll results you quote as "being released last week" are word for word from a NYT poll released in February of 2009. That's two years ago. cbsnews dot com/htdocs/pdf/SunMo_poll_0209.pdf

  • @ETicketM

Sorry, that was a direct quote, I should have sourced it.

  • @CesarManiaX Where is this nonsense of comparing the most radically leftist man ever to hold the office to Ronald Reagan coming from, the DNC? It's not working.

  • @jtkirkfan2002

First of all, Obama is not to the left of FDR, JFK or Carter. He's no further left then Clinton was, and in many ways he's barley left of President Bush.

  • @17R3W Still not working. Repeating a lie may make more people believe it, but it doesn't make it true.

  • @jtkirkfan2002 your right so tell me ... why do the left lie so much

  • @seabee1950 They wouldn't get one single vote if they told the truth about what they really wanted to do with this country.

  • Jodi Miller is great

  • I love the sound of Jodi in the morning. ......It sounds like.... comedy. Great stuff as always.
