    Everybody owns Chevy cuz they're easy to make fast. 500hp in a S10 should be quicker than this. However, at least your at the track and not bench racing.

  • That's a very good run! If ever I were to get a 4.3L, I'd build mine up like I would build up a v8. Edelbrock tunnel ram intake, Holly 950 demon carburetor, higher lifting valves and head stuff in general, followed by a borg & warner Turbo. I never knew that you could get those types of numbers out of a 4.3. Plus they sound really good too! The idle resembles that of a 5.7!

  • @FANADICALCOWHEAD did you know that the chevy 4.3 v6 is actually a 350 minus 2 cylinders? if you do the math you can see that its true.. 4.3/262=5.7/350

    Yep, I've known that for quite while now, but a 4.3's idle doesn't usually have raspy throaty sound. This one sounds like a straight-piped 350 while idling.

    would you care do state a little more about ur setup. Unless your talking 1/8 mile I don't see it possible to run 10.91 without a 200 shot of nitrous. WEight, rear gear, tire size apparently do not matter

  • @flavorfreakyzeke big custom ground cam with some headwork, port and polish, marine intake w/ bigger fuel injectors...custom headers or make some long tubes fit...

  • @01xvortec thanks man i just got my heads back from the machine shop cant wait to install them and gota cam on the way...not too big tho .510 lift cause she's still my daily driver...where did u get ur intake and injectors?

  • @flavorfreakyzeke im reusing my stock intake, and i got my mpfi injectors from a junkyard off an 04 blazer for cheapppp! better than spending 400 dollars...its not a performance upgrade...more like a hassle-free later upgrade in case the stock ones ever get clogged, these ones wont...the marine intake and injectors you can find off ebay though im sure...

  • @flavorfreakyzeke Eagle rotating assembly, it may be costly but they are a great company with great products. For the turbo I'd go with the Syclone/Typhoon turbo the T3T4 turbo, they have a kit on Ebay for about a buck and a half.
