Ben Orr passed away from Pancreatic Cancer at 53 10 Years ago. On October 3,2000 it's hard to believe he's been gone that long at least we have these Beautiful Videos to Remember him.
In '89 I threw my druggie gf out of the car at a truck-stop to catch a ride with her prostitute "Johns" that would surely be dumping her off somewhere too in due time. I hope she overdosed and died eventually, 'cause it was her only avenue to Peace evidently.
Nothing against Ben, but discovered on Ben's biography that his longest relastionship with a woman, Diane Gray Page, ended in 1990 due to another woman. Don't know who left who though. Doesn't really surprise me, as he had millions waiting in line for him!
Everyone has their own meaning to this song, but after researching the song on wiki and google, Ric wrote it about Benjamin's brief relationship with Valerie Bertinelli in the early '80's. Apparently, she left him for Eddie Van Halen.
When was this? The reason I ask is because she married Eddie Van Halen in April 1981. This song came out in '84. I didnt see anything is her biography so I was wondering.
