I love how Eric isn't COMPLETELY gone. If you notice, whenever Sookie is around, he never hurts her or shoves her aside and when she talks, he responds. He's still there, albeit spellbound. I can recall quite a few times when a sane Bill lost his cool. I'm SO sick of Bill being on such a pedestal. I wonder if it's due to his marriage to Anna or if it's just Alan Ball liking Bill WAY too much. If Sookie was smart she'd realize that Eric is truer about his feelings than Bill and much stronger.

Just going to play Devil's Advocate a little here...You also have to take into consideration Sookie's perspective. Bill was her first for EVERYTHING. So naturally she may still have some feelings for Bill. That doesn't mean she loves Eric any less. And maybe she's right about the fact that it could be that both of them gave her blood so of course it's going to be confusing emotionally for her.
Honestly, the fact that the actress playing Sookie and the actor playing Bill got together was not good for the show, Sookie's choices have become dumb. It's 100% certain she ends up with Bill at the end of the series because of this and Alan wanting to put his happy pole up Bill's happy place. :(

@sydniewallie Sookie doesn´t go back to bill in the books, they are done and then she is with Eric in between she has a relationship with a weretiger and then she goes back to eric, they are even pledged at some point...
And the books don´t have a love triangle, thats just Balls obsession with the character of bill, in the books he becomes more of a minor character later on and not a real love interest for sookie...
cbizzle4lyfe, actually Allan Ball compared Alcide personality to Bill which is"controlling"! and a liar"! so no Alcide is not a perfect match for her and quinn according to the books quinn never paid that much attention to sookie which is why she dumps him. so their the ones that are toxic .
if you have to choose between two people you love always choose the second. because if you truly loved someone the first time you would have fallen in love again.
and Anna Paquin is really getting on my nerves. at first I thought she has this off-beat strange prettiness, but now I think she's just not beautiful enough to play Sookie, hence the obsession that every man/vampire feels for her is not entirely comprehensible.
she's not a terrific actress either (yes, I know, she got an Oscar, but that is my honest opinion)

I think its a great step for him b/c that wall that hided that sweetness and love in him dissapears for a moment and reveals the real Eric.
People tend to focus more on the things they don't like than in the things they do. Forget about she mentioned Bill and focus with the ''I love you'' confessions and how intense they look at each other! Bill who? PS: now seriously, who was surprised with the fact that sookie was still inlove with Bill?
In the book Eric doesn't remember for some time what happened between him and Sookie even he always took care of her in his way. And in the end they got married in the vampire way with a trick but they remain together and Bill (helped by sookie) find his vampire sister (made by the same vampire) that loocked a lot like his wife and whome he loved a lot.
I really recomand you to read the bookes - those are way above the movie and all the characters are way more complicated and interesting.

And Sookie is treated as a plot device more than a character. It's all so contrived and poorly written....
I think there might be 2 directions from now: either sookie chose the decent solution to stay away from both of them till she realise who'se the one she really love without "the bloid", or she's a compleatly bitch. From this moment I find hard to belive that the old and "full of pride" Eric is going to accept her so easy back.
I both love and hate the Eric / sookie scene´s in this clip . But have to say soo far it have been the one of the best scenes of season 4 . The godric scene was the best , hope to see one more with him this season . It´s soo good to have the old Eric back and compered to the scene´s with the spellbound Eric . I think this/ these Eric /Sookie scene/s are mutch better . Cant Wait to watch ep 11 .
I think Sookie let herself love Eric while he had amnesia just because she thought he was eventually gonna remember and that would change all; she seems to be really afraid of reality in relationships so the minute he is back she tells him how she cant picture a world without Bill (cheesiest line ever btw); It also seems to me that the writers of this show think true love should definately picture a drama-loviing, slightly submissive girl, who will love you no matter how degrading you treat her!

I think she's scared of what she feels for him and didn't expect to feel the same way after the memories came back, but she still loves him. No matter what feelings she still has for Bill, she does love Eric and told him so not knowing if he felt the same way. But he does.
Loved the way Eric threw Bill all over that place! Outstanding! I almost wish he had thrown Sook around the room as well.... she's such a bimbo! I think the point of this is that Sookie questions how genuine her feelings are for both Bill and Eric since both gave her their blood. This is like in the books, in which Sookie resisted her feelings for Eric even after they got together again in Book 9. I think the producers decided to use the emotional and sexual attraction that comes with vampire blood as the vehicle for keeping the tension between the characters. Unfortunately, now Eric has reason to question Sookie's feelings for him.

In the book Eric doesn't remember for some time what happened between him and Sookie even he always took care of her in his way. And in the end they got married in the vampire way with a trick but they remain together and Bill (helped by sookie) find his vampire sister (made by the same vampire) that loocked a lot like his wife and whome he loved a lot.
I really recomand you to read the bookes - those are way above the movie and all the characters are way more complicated and interesting.

Either Bill will do something unforgiveable (becasuse apparently its really easy to get over being lied to about the foundation of your entire relationship), Eric will frame Bill for something unforgiveable or Eric will gain some leverage over Sookie and she will do what he wants. Just choosing Eric because he's obviously better doesn't seem likely. i think the writing staff is team Bill :(

And Sookie is treated as a plot device more than a character. But the real problem is that the writers have always brought Eric down in order to level the playing field between him and Bill and force this stupid triangle on us. It's all so contrived and poorly written....

I both love and hate the Eric / sookie scene´s in this clip . But have to say soo far it have been the one of the best scenes of season 4 . The godric scene was the best , hope to see one more with him this season . It´s soo good to have the old Eric back and compered to the scene´s with the spellbound Eric . I think this/ these Eric /Sookie scene/s are mutch better . Cant Wait to watch ep 11 .

I think Sookie let herself love Eric while he had amnesia just because she thought he was eventually gonna remember and that would change all; she seems to be really afraid of reality in relationships so the minute he is back she tells him how she cant picture a world without Bill (cheesiest line ever btw); It also seems to me that the writers of this show think true love should definately picture a drama-loviing, slightly submissive girl, who will love you no matter how degrading you treat her!

I think she's scared of what she feels for him and didn't expect to feel the same way after the memories came back, but she still loves him. I think the point of this is that Sookie questions how genuine her feelings are for both Bill and Eric since both gave her their blood. This is like in the books, in which Sookie resisted her feelings for Eric even after they got together again in Book 9. I think the producers decided to use the emotional and sexual attraction that comes with vampire blood as the vehicle for keeping the tension between the characters. Unfortunately, now Eric has reason to question Sookie's feelings for him.

Now here he did, and I have no problem with that. But he's just lame here. He would have never accepted Sookie's feelings about Bill. Even with the love he feels, he's way too proud, we all know that. And yes, I agree, she does not deserve him AT ALL.
