Dying fetus has been an inspiration for me drum wise since i started drumming 2 years ago, and thats why am where i am now, playing in a band keeping up with professional musicians, i'm no where near professional lvl or any of theese days sick death metal drummers, but i advanced really fast on theese 2 years thanks to them. Triggers are used to take a signal and turn in to a digital sound which is not cheating. In a way it makes it harder and easier to play fast, 1. You don't have to hit the bass drum as hard just to get a loud tone in fact you can hit it really lightly 2. However the triggers pick up the smallest vibration so it is easier to hear a fuck up. It is just a different way to portray your sound. Any idiot saying its cheating doesn't know shit!
if you think triggers are cheating, you are an actual fucking idiot. if you played drums as fast as these guys, youd realise that triggers are ESSENTIAL, for playing fast, otherwise the sound just turns to mush. if you think all drummers play really softly, then you are sorely mistaken, and, if they did, so what? its their style, i dont see people who are complaining even playing 200 bpm comfortably, let alone 250-320 bpm

He is a very good drummer but he didn't write the drums for that song. Kevin Talley did. I think DF's best period was when Kevin was in the band, not to take anything away from the other members, they are awesome too. The new album slays, but Kevin added a different feel to his drumming that I prefer over their new drummers.

i'm always surprised, at how good a heavy metal drummer's memory is; lots of fills/cymbal-works yet they hit it perfectly! improvisation or not, they still sound nice! =D

Grotesque impalement EP (2000) is a bunch of old songs that were remade. Most of them are on the original "Infatuation in Malevolence" cd.

Currently I know of no other drummer who is faster on double bass than Williams. If I'm wrong, someone tell me who's faster? I doubt DImmu Borgir, Death, Morbid Angel could top this guy.

i figure they used a mixer and took out some songs and borrowed the live sound to record them singing and faded the sound of the crowd that would be the only way i know but they say something different but whatever i love the album

i'm always surprised, at how good a heavy metal drummer's memory is; lots of fills/cymbal-works yet they hit it perfectly! improvisation or not, they still sound nice! =D
