i am so sorry that they replaced the old buoy here. there's just a big plastic orange ball now. there used to be one of the old type with a little platform. sea lions would crowd onto it and lay around to rest. it never failed that there was just one more sea lion who wouldn't fit and swam aroung endlessly barking and yelling...usually at about 3am.
