I know that TP is maybe better than OoT, but it wouldn't exist without OoT. OoT started the amazing 3D version of Zelda (WW almost destroyed it in my opinion).

Think of it as Ocarina of Time, but bigger. You're in classic Hyrule but everything is huge. The play mechanics are also better than OoT, you can actually swim underwater, horse riding is much better and used more places. And the game is very long, if you love Zelda it's definately worth it.

So is Mario Galaxy, if you like Mario 64 you'll love that.

OMG thank you so much i loved all the N64 classics(zelda mario,mario cart,star fox,super smash, donkey kong etc.) i havent had a nintendo system since my N64 but i am probably goin to buy a Wii now,i have a 360 but it doesnt have the classics on it

Indeed Zelda TP is a great game, but is not as good as OoT, you can check with the critics (gamerankings) or with some other fans (forums or blogs) OoT is a classic. Dont get me wrong TP is still an excellent game, a worth game to have the name of Zelda on it.

Well, They're the same exact games, except TP has a round Hyrule, which makes it annoying to get around, but at least you have more of a reason to travel on a horse, in my opinion, easier temples, more weapons, and has a cooler wooden shield (the replacement shield that you can buy after burning your first one).
