As far as the spoiler I posted about Samantha Ferris. She will be returning in episode 17 and not later like I originally posted. Balthazar totally screws up a key moment in time which alters history. Hence why Ellen returns.

Both of Mary's parents were killed by Azazel before she married John and started her family.  Unless Balthazar's tampering with history altered this as well her father is dead before her sons are born and apparently she's alive so maybe the Cambells weren't even hunters. As far as that goes both her parents could be alive and all the people the hunters saved are dead.
