If i wanted to confuse people any further I'd say the high G note is sung while singing a G Major ascending arpeggio, while the piano is actually holding a D Major chord. The singing is in that case a bit in advance on the harmony by singing the chord that is to come next (G Major). This has to have an official name that I do not know. So uh there you go :D
