However the M14 lacks one specification. The M14 fires the high power 7.62x51mm NATO which is not an intermediate cartridge. An example of an intermediate cartridge would be the 5.56x45mm NATO round which is featured in many assault rifles such as the M16. Go ahead and look it up on Wikipedia.
the M14 DID and DOES have a fully automatic mode.....you're thinking of the M21 sniper rifle looks the exacts same just difference in size and firing mechanism
