i love both the uk and us versions... i only ever watched the uk version and i only started watching the us version this year and both are great to watch... why cant we all just get along and enjoy the shows for what they were made for? entertainment :)

they make the office out to be a soap opera or something. jeez, i love jim and pam but this promo make it look all DRAMATIC which the office has VERY little of( but they still have it, just not as much as the promo makes it seem)

Not to mention they are both a copy of the Australian ABC show 'Frontline' , get real who would believe a film crew would film a office anyway. Where as frontline is a brilliant mockumentary of the media.

Don't believe me , watch frontline , notice the office setting , camera angles , awkward moments and the ignorant tool who thinks everyone likes him but no one does .

P.S. i still love the office's.

I think both the UK and US versions of the office are completely brillinat. They have to be seen as completely separate entities, it's not a Vs's scenario- appreciate them both for what they are- absolutely amazing and original comedy!

The song is "Stars" by Lamar. I think it was up for free download off the nbc website. I don't know the actual link, but I think it's mentioned in the comments of the youtube jim/pam promo for season 3.

yeah, last weeks episode was supposed to run after this, but I think they switched them purposefully, thereby changing the plot. resume feeding them hopes, folks.

See my reply above to Nikolas. The change was not based on plot, it was based on the amish shootings and references to the amish in the upcoming episode (a visit to Dwight and Mose's beet farm).

Keep in mind, folks, that this episode was originally supposed to run BEFORE last week's episode. So given all that we saw between Karen and Jim, I wouldn't get your hopes up QUITE yet. (But I'll agree, it's good to see them talking again. I was getting annoyed at the lack of Jim and Pam contact!)

...I'm not sure I understand how it makes a difference, really. The only reason they changed the order was because of the amish shootings and the references to the amish in the upcoming episode. The change wasn't based on plot continuity.
