Hello Rachel Field! Thank you for playing this great Stravinsky concerto! What wonderful music! I am the granddaughter of Richard Rodgers, and I know my whole family will love this terrific performance. So great that you are playing Wuorinen and Karchin, too. This is one of my absolute favorite pieces of music EVER!!! So exciting, envigorating. Rachel Field is an awe-inspiring young artist. Not only has she great virtuosity at her command, along with the obvious deep connection she has with Stravinsky, but she can actually communicate her love of the music. I can't WAIT to be able to see her in person. I have played this video about sixty times, and just HAD to write in....
