Each uses common sense and decency based on generally accepted morality and ethics that create harmony, peace, justice, and prosperity for each citizen. If this works, other states are going to follow suit. That, I believe is what will save us in the end. Each State is a microcosm of the federal government, with executive, legislative and judicial branches. Each State also has their own Constitution, based on the original Constitution.
