Have you published this code and circuit anywhere? What you have achieved is quite remarkable. I am hoping to build a similar project that I can play back midi music in chunks of bars, ie any point in a tune to any other point in the tune. This way I can practice the hard bits with accompaniment and also control the pitch and tempo as well, until I can get it right or at least understand what I need to do.
Your work work would be of enormous assistance to me.
Good Job!! How did you connected the keys (8x) and the Display (6 Pins) to Arduino? You cannot use the 1 (RX) and 0 (TX) Pins, because they are the Programming Pins!
I like it. I sure can use a compact inexpensive midi file player. How many songs/files does it hold?? Anymore info available?? schematics, boards, plans kits? This little board could control my huge machine!!
Got all my info from some one on the net with the username pipeorganphil, he sent me the diagrams and reworked the coding for me so I could use it on the Arduino he did say something about it being an open source project, by a guy in Germany. It can hold up to 250 midi files in separate folders up to 2 GB cards so thousands of files could be on one card.

Hello
William (France), I wish to join the part SD Card into my project to read Midi files ( Ableton) but regrettably I do not know how to make:-(
You can explain me even to give myself this part of program.
Thank you
William

He has a video of one he’s built on YouTube.
