thats your opinion, my opinion is its an average cover of the song, the guitar is great, they mixed it up a bit, and the singer has a good voice, but its not the sort of voice that fits best with the song, of course aslan appreciate pink floyds song, its one of the most famous songs ever written, and thats why i can't even begin to compare this version to the original, for me the original is perfection. this cover sounds a bit too boybandish

compare ASLAN to Pink floyd, This song is about Barrett so when aslan sing it the meaning of the song is lost. It doesn't matter what you think about it, your opinions don't change the fact that this is probably the best song aslan ever played and they didn't even write it, bunch of fucking clown shoes if you ask me.

how about if ya think that aslan appreciated pink floyds song enough to cover it????no cover is better than the origional,the origional is wrote for a reason...christy and the lads covered it so it obviously meant something to them so its a bit harsh of ya to come on here and tell someone there wrong dya not think...
and to be honest aslans version is better preformed than pink floyd's in my opinion

thats your opinion, my opinion is its an average cover of the song, the guitar is great, they mixed it up a bit, and the singer has a good voice, but its not the sort of voice that fits best with the song, of course aslan appreciate pink floyds song, its one of the most famous songs ever written, and thats why i can't even begin to compare this version to the original, for me the original is perfection. this cover sounds a bit too boybandish

well average isnt bad for a band that still preform in my local pub...realistically when you compare pink floyd to a recovering heroin addict thats been through it all you cant compare.....and its great cos this song means alot to me,and without aslan i wouldnt know it...so in that aspect i really appreciate the fact they covered it.....

and so what if he is a recovering heroin addict, how does that make a difference to the music, theres loads of musicians who recovered from heroin e.g. eric clapton
anyway, judging on the performance of aslans lead singer on stage he probably would have been better off still on the smack

Ha I only found out this was actually by Pink Floyd about a week ago, I used to listen to this in my car when I was about ten heading to Dublin forthe weekend. Ah, sweet memories. Better, much, than the original.
