What I did when I had this ERROR 12. I just used "Save As.." Instead of Save.

i have mods on my sims game but i have no idea how i put them on there. i'd like to comepletely get rid of the memories, i don't use them, but i don't know how to use the winrar thing for the mod. can you help?

wellI have now been able to save 3 times so far... i just removed the custom mod for the memories and replaced with with memories disabled completly Mod... im at that point where i have played for months because of this stupid error code which makes no damn scence, i have nothing to loose so i shall give it another test run tomz and see how it goes

Ughh i really want to delete the TravelDB file but I know the game can make a new one and in my sims 3 its thursday and prom is friday but what if i delete the history saves are gone please help... I'm SOOOOOOOOO sick of error code 12 i kicked the computer like 5 times :P But help pleeeease.

I don't even have generations, and I have memories on my game. I did have Riverview (I think that's what it is..) and it was acting VEERRYY dumb. Error code 12 kept popping up, and I lost a few families for some strange reason. I uninstalled the extra towns, and I haven't had any problems since, and I have played pretty much everyday for the past week and a half

I used memory disabled mod, and evicted half of my residents in my town (Bridgeport) and LUCKILY (kept praying so hard during save game) it manage to save w/o errors. Let's hope it continues to be like this forever. Luckily I do not have any major attachment to the memory function although I gotta admit it's pretty nifty. EA - do something! -.-

@nguyenam1 - I've got more than enough system to handle it, it doesn't matter though sadly. The game just kept taking up memories. It too until the 2nd generation of a large family before I had the bug occur. I hope it doesn't happen to you, just be careful! :D

@tylerannoy - It happens with all games, Generations has caused it to happen more often / VERY frequently.

I've never had a sim sleep on the roof! haha what's up with that?
