I am reading all these comments about fake grand master 10dan and being bullshit master and....So I ask you, if Morihei Ueshiba founded Aikido witch has it's roots in Aikijutsu and as a Founder of the art he's got 10th dan then why Ljubomir Vracarevic founder of ''Real Aikido'' witch has it's roots from Aikido should not have 10th dan in the art which he founded.And for the las time ''real'' refers to realistic or real life or something like that , nobody said that its origina!

@lamogio1992 Morihei Ueshiba never claimed he was a 10th dan. I have not seen anything anywhere in any publications that he claimed it either. In actually since he the founder he was not considered within the ranking system and neither are his son or grandson the current head of aikido in Japan. In America 10th degree black belts are a dime a dozen but in Japan they are few and far between because they have a much stricter criteria on who they recognize as one.

Well, "Real Aikido" is actually developed by Љубомир Врачаревић (Ljubomir Vračarević).In August 2002 the United States Martial Arts Association elected Vracarevic to its Hall of Fame and awarded him the title Grandmaster, black belt 10th dan, Sōke. but This award is not recognized by any of the mainstream aikido organizations such as Aikikai and Yoshinkan. everybody have their own styles on aikido.

hell i was at a grading in 97, and there were 2 black belts doign a grading, and they got a bollocking becuase what they showed was utter rubbish and let down their own clubs.

@fnsnfar I think respect comes above all, but, yes... Aikido is only one: The one founded and created by O'Sensei. It doesn't add much to the case if I create a branch (on name) and call myself 10th dan and Greatmaster. Common sense and humility are both required in Aikido, the real and only Aikido. Anyway, I respect your decision on following and believing what u desire. Peace.

He does NOT have 10th dan for sure! There are only very few old masters nowadays who have 10th dan and they all were direct students of O-sensei. Nowadays, 10th dan is given to no one but Ueshiba family´s masters.

@fnsnfar yes he is a 10th dan recognized by United States Martial Arts Association, I am sure anybody can receive a Grandmaster/Soke certification if they have their membership dues paid. Ranks are too easily gotten in USA. Yes by the way I am a black belt in Jujitsu in the USA but the higher rank I receive the less important it is. This piece of cloth that can be bought won't protect me but the knowledge and skill is more important.

@unikad 10th Dan is his own style Aikido. There are many that start their own style or name. Prob a 3rd dan at best recognized by Hombu Dojo. Real Aikido is a BRAND. Its like GENUINE Diamonds or 24K SANTO Gold. Not a real diamond or real gold...not real Aikido. It is 10th Dan Gay Ass music though.

belive me, he is worth it...if this were not just showing of techniques, on 3:53 the arm of his "opponent" would be broken before he notice that...if you think its fake, go to anyone who has 3rd kyu or better in real aikido and let him show you some techniques...you will see how much pain the showing of techniques causes, and belive me, if you run to some master in an street fight, unless you are master of 2-3 martial arts, you wont know what happened to you...

AIKIDO is not a way to defeat your opponent and cause him pain, its a way to bring peace and gentleness.

thats what makes any "Real kinda calling, or doing, or breaking, or causing pain" false aikido,

every black belt should at least know that aikido is not facing efficient breaking, but efficient MARTIAL ART.

as all movements comes from the soul of a sword bearing moving-like tecnic

at the moment i spoke of, 3:53, he has not the martial art posture, and a 10th dan has to be allways attentive to it. would he -hipotetically - hold a sword at that time, his "cut" tecnic (forgot how to spell this word) would not be suficient to a samurai. art - martial - aikido/// breaking = fighting, not art

I get that, but tell me, did you ever see an sword in a street fight? Its for real situations, knifes, guns, etc...its following situation: his opponent (Igor) attacks master Ljubomir with a knife in his right hand, thats why master Ljubomir focuses on the right hand of Igor, and thats why its not a problem that he has turned his back to the attacker...please watch some presentations where masters are showing the techniques in the real speed....

i am really glad that i had never the opportunity to use my aikido at a fight, thats cuz i dont fight.

as i told you, if you are searching or practicing a street focused martial art, forget about calling it aikido.

I believe you misunderstood the world ''Real''. ''Real' implies to ''real life'' .In other words its a martial art witch contains aikido and other martial arts and its adjusted to real life situations .I also believe that nobody said that the word ''real'' means ''original'' .The last thing i would like to mention is that we sould stop criticizing people's choise , every single person on the world has the right to make his own decisions .I have practised aikido and real aikido.
