She isn't a BAD singer. But if you were comparing her voice to someone like Adele, Fiona Apple or Tina Turner she isn't half as talented as them. Rihanna's voice is unique - yes but it is also very limited. I am not saying she is talentless, but I would say that 90% of her fame comes from the fact that she is beautiful and she's had people make her hit songs. I doubt future generations will remember her because of her voice. Good for her though, she is hard working and she deserves her fortune.

Her voice is unique. She's definitely not the best singer, but most singers aren't. It's all a matter of opinion. I like Rihanna's voice because of its tone. Her tone is like this sticky candy kind of like Starburst. There's a slight dryness to her vocals, but the slight dryness is what makes her voice cut through beats. I think she brings something different to the table and I appreciate that.
