I don't understand why people love ripping on Harleys. Live free...ride what you want..and quit judging other people's choice to own a Harley. Great video. ~From a fellow rider.
Appears you could enjoy riding this road at perhaps at least 2x's the speed executed on your Sportster. So why not purchase an appropriate canyon slayer like a CBR 945RR, Yamaha R1, even a Hayabusa? You could experience the pleasure of flicking your bike over in an instant, rolling on the throttle throughout the turn and entering the "zone". Instead, you muddle along on a awkward steel hippo unsafe at any speed.
Get rid of that bucket and buy a real performance machine. You'll thank me.
Most..when you go easy on the throttle so you can see what is going on around you..or when you blast down on the bike so you can see nothing but the road..?
I think you should cut the crap and try out a Harley. Then you can really talk about joyfull riding.
: Googel and find RAM CAMERA MOUNTS for the mounts
Mic:
You cant just use an small condensator-mic from a PC-headset. It must be a dynamic mic because of the sound pressure. A ordinary cheap song-mic will do (size as a banana..)
Wind noise:
I use a stomach belt with a room for the mic. I put the mic inside, zips it and turn it around so the room is behind me, on my back. The cord goes forward to the camera

I can't louse my intrest on this video . The best ever . I seat here in the vintertime and i' fil like i ride my bike. And you ride your bik the same like mi. Good lock mean .
Thanks, this video is fantastic. Nothing like the open road to get the juices flowing. Great camera work... Very steady. Getting a Sportster this spring. Can't wait.
European riding at its best and the sound is all success. The sound and ride is great. But you shouldn't let people know where you are riding. There is no need to crowd the place.
If other people making bike videos would learn from you, life on YouTube could be so much more enjoyable for those of us momentarily unable to ride. Good Job, thank you.
Yeh,nice sound and so,but man, where the F... you're rushin' to. What kind of race track was that? Hold your horses a litle bit or maby you're riding a wrong bike,it's a Harley after all!
awesome video, great perspective makes you feel like you're there. That's just the sound I'm looking for on my harley. Not earsplitting but nice and smooth.
my four year old granddaughter loves this. she sits at her computer desk with her set of pullbacks and leans into corners twisting her pretend throttle. a natural biker if ever there was one. cheers minsykkel.
One of the best Harley riding and sound videos I have seen. Awsome sound and makes you feel right in the saddle!!!!

You have the best HD Sportster footage I've ever seen. BTW, how common are Harleys in Norway? I bet you get a ton of attention over there.

You can get attention to Harley even in damn London, England.:-))It`s obvious...It`s a Harley....
lehoom 3 years ago
well...Harley was the most sold bike in Norway in Q1 and Q2 2008...And the price of a Sportster 1200 Custom is 29.000 $ (172.000 Norwegian Kr)
