I've always thought of this car as Japan's modern equivalent of the E-Type Jaguar.

@rusher38 tht would be great. It would put them right up top again. the rotary needs to be revised though, not sure about the rx7 but my buddy leased a new rx8 and that shit had so many issues. He went on vacation for 2 weeks and the car wouldnt start back up only after 15000 miles. uhh..

@homeboyskilletfresh I haven't heard of the RX8 failing to start. That is really odd actually, the motor in the RX8 is designed to be extremely reliable compared to older builds of their rotaries.

@rusher38 yes it actually quite a common problem. Not in starting up but with flooding the engine with gas. dealer said he was lucky it was fixable without doing an engine swap but they have issues with being droven at low rpms. rotary is at home at a high rpm but low rpms tend to make things unstable. Im not the rotary engine expert but i just havent seen much reliabilty with them. they are great and fun,yes, but they do have some issues with normal driving from what ive heard. Great car though

@ivandabomb09 thats just how rotary engines are. FYI if you start these up then turn them off, then try to start it again, its a real pig to start as if its flooded like an old carbureted car. Someone told me you're actually suppose to floor it until it starts. Cool engines but a little quirky
