  • cool repair kit but whats with batteries for the gps

  • splendid collection

  • @HeadHardHat good idea HHH I will add most of the items you mentioned to my kit.

  • I'm going to make a micro and a small. those can fit in most places. I've come across so many geocaches that are broken and stuff. I'll keep one in the glovebox!

  • @niknik212121 I know as a geocache owner that when a geocache breaks or gets soaked and someone replaces it for me I really do appreciate it. Other geocachers do too.

  • HHH I wanted to know if you could make a more videos about how to make clever geocaches that you can hide in high muggelable places such as a busy sidwalk. I guesss what Im asking is for more city type caches.

  • @kuriboh380 I will put that in my list of ta dos. Thanks for the suggestions.

  • Thank you very much for this! I've been looking to make myself a repair kit, and this was very helpful!

One thing a fellow cacher has advised me is to check the pharmacy stores for little pill baggies they've started to sell, as they are stronger and thicker than the ones from the hobby shops.

  • @cynsayshi Sorry for the late response, I have been rather busy with filming GeoSnippits. Excellent idea. I will check for those as well..

  • When using the duct tape, I have made patches with duct tape, then duct taped them over the hole. This creates kind of a "2-layer" defense against the rugged weather we get here in Missouri. Here's a VERY rough diagram:

Also, I find it nice to bring some extra pencils and pencil sharpeners, just in case the one in there is broken.

  • @ckellingc Excellent suggestion. This should be a temp fix but that should do the job until the OP can get out there and replace it.

    Thanks for chiming in.
