(sigh) Something tells me they tool Hyaenodont's design literally. They aren't related to hyenas in any way whatsoever. It's just a dumb coincidental name based on misunderstandings when the thing was discovered.

There was a virus, sent to Gaia, which infected the insect populous then moved onto the plants, and animals, mainly dinosaurs, which caused them to die out due to no immunity, and it destroyed organs, causing them to bleed ont he inside, killing them all. Tiny raptors that did survive added to the birds.
@CRA101 Its not a movie. Its a TV serie calleld "Primeval" there have been 4 seasons for now, and 5 season to come later here in 2011. This video/creatures is from the latest season 4.
