i own a montana II 9.5m and i find it to difficult to controleven in winds of 15mph...

what is the apex like for jumps?

the Apex is not meant for jumping. It's a lower aspect ration kite, very very stable and easy to use. But in enough wind, you can certainly jump with it. 25+ mph and off you go with a 5M Apex.
