  • It is song named Tak vás tu máme writhen and sing by Karel Kryl. Lyric is czech and one sentence in rusian

  • I'm sorry this happened. But you should empathize and understand that the SU was not just being evil, it had its motives too. Before WW2, the SU tried to stop Hitler together with England en France, but they chose to kiss Hitler's ass instead. In the war, SU lost up to 30 million people and beat 80-93% of Hitler's troops. So you can imagine it wanted more than a thank you. It would not be fair to let America reap entire Europe, would it?

  • I am from Poland and I know about that invasion. Too bad that my country took part in it too. What's the title of the song you used and who sings it?

  • Im glad that you know about it. The title is: Tak vás tu máme and Karel Kryl sing it.

  • Thanks. What language is that song sung in? I think most of it is in Czech (or is it Slovak?) but aren't a few lines at the end in Russian? By the way, I see that you posted this as a response to the Marta Kubisova's song "Ne". In fact, that's how I found your video. I read an interview with Kubisova where she said that she had met Karel Kryl in 1969. I think it was the only time they met before 1989. He told her that he was going to leave the country. I wonder why she didn't do the same.

  • It is sung in czech language and yes, the last lines are in russian, just to make the occupants understand. Kubišová didnt left, becouse her love for the country was just too big. Meny oather anti communist singers stayed home alsow. For example Jaromír Nohavica.

  • @1985MarcinM Karel Kryl---czech sing man

  • wow I never even knew about this !

  • Im not suprised Sasha. Somehowe it got forgotten, unfortunatly...

  • This is very good. My sympathies have always been for Czechs and Slovaks who lost their Prague Spring and suffered another invasion. Let's never forget this.

  • thanks mate , 5* igor

  • Thanks lad, I realy appreciate this. The problem is, that most of young people dont even know this happened.

  • Well, hopefully videos like this will help educate them.
