I have a question for you. The context of which is that I absolutely love your blues piano videos and love playing blues piano myself, but how do you find ways to variate your playing? As far as the 12 bar blues go, there is a pretty set pattern. Its obvious you dont just play the minor blues scale, but i hear what your playing, and then look at the keyboard and wonder "what the hell can i do to play like that?" If you ever come to San Francisco, CA, let me know. Id love to pick your brain

its hard to explane in words but I might come and play at the end of this year in San Diego but that's not sure yet..I just play what comes in my mind..sounds cheap but its the way it is. Maybe because I've been using my ears since birth I pick up things fast and remember them good and when I improvise things go easy...thanks for your words!

Not so much boogie woogie, as I'm caught by the jazz blues organ flu :-) I uploaded an uptempo composition just yesterday.

Your way of swinging the boogie woogie, actually more close to the Pete Johnson light swing than to Albert Ammons in my opinion, but I think you beg to differ about that :-) is a most enjoyable swing! And what you do is very, very hard to achieve...
