  • I like you. You keep it real and true Thank you I learned a lot

  • kelp noodles yummmmmmm

  • I enjoyed Your Short Video

  • kelp noodles are expensive. don't bother if you are an average joe. a lot of the recipes i looked at included a lot of ingredients including nuts. we're talking $15 (if not more) for one meal. that's outrageous.

  • kelp noodles are so good :)

  • I don't know where you people are getting your Kelp noodles, but the Kelp noodles I get from an Asian Market are GREEN, not white or translucent.

  • I have a question. I don't live in a place where there's a huge variety of raw foods at an affordable price, so the main raw foods thati get in the winter are apple, citrus fruits, cauliflower, carrots, lettuce, spinach, and some nuts. If I were to eat all raw foods would I be able to get all of my nutrients?

  • kelp noodles are made from all natural, raw kelp that has been stripped of its outer skin (leaving a clear, thin interior). They’re then preserved in sodium alginate, a natural salt that’s also seaweed derived

  • Great points, and great info.

  • Great points, and great info.

  • Logical, simple and very informative. Thank you very much for this video. Please keep 'um coming.

  • yes, I've noticed that Lara recenty stopped putting "raw" on the labels, I guess someone complained. If a product claims to be raw then I think it should really be raw. Having said that, I loved Lara bars when I was transitioning and was greatful to have them. I was considering buying from a raw delivery service, but even though the chef assured me that they were "very" careful to use only raw nuts, she admitteded (after I pressed her) that the almonds were heated at 145 degrees or something.

  • I think you miss the point. Some people like me bought them thinking they were full of nutrients.. I got mine and then tossed them in the trash

  • I like Lara Bars. I can get them 10 for $10 at Safeway. Never seen them cheaper anywhere else! I love all the flavors, and my 2-year old son only likes the Apple Pie flavor.

  • I didn't know that Lara bars were mostly raw. I've wondered because there are times when I'm out and would like something raw and healthy.

I just ate a Raw bar from Starbucks. It was fantastic! It was something like Raw Mom's or something about Moms. Very good! I felt like I was eating something bad! Haha! Even my hubby liked it! LOL

Honestly, I prefer just eating dates as a snack.

  • @RandomDumbBlonde

Two Moms in The Raw? Yeah, I like their Blueberry Granola bars :)

  • GREAT INFO, I do not eat either of these but use to eat lara bars on occasion. WELL DONE Natasha!

  • I thought the kelp noodles were from the stems of the kelp not the leaves... because I've heard that if you took one of the stems, cut a ball out of it you could use it like a rubber ball.. it would bounce surprisingly well.. and honestly the noodles have that springiness to them.. now if we could find out what color the inner stem of kelp looks like... then we might know if they did something funky to it.

  • Great informative vid!

Thank you for such good motavation!

  • If you look at Lara bars packaging they have a percentage on them now. Some say raw some say maybe 80%.

Can only eat a half of one. I prefer unsweetened carob raisins if I want a sweet item.

Can you let us know what seaweed you have used that is not fishy tasting?

Natasha do you send positive energy through the net. Every time I see one of your videos I am instantly really happy. : )

  • Natasha, could you please take us through a day of your eating? it would be great to see!

  • i eat alot of raw cabbage... is that OK?

  • I bought some kelp noodles today out of curiosity. Thanks for all the info!!

  • I'm not a big fan of raw bars.. they're definitely healthier than most processed foods but for whatever reason i'm just not a big fan of the taste/texture. I do have them every once in awhile though because they help with a sweet tooth :)

  • Lara Bar = Nom nom nom delight! hehe

BTW, your hair is really beautiful!

  • Yeah what about those Raw Revolution Bars?

But I rather eat a Lara Bar than a Snickers.LOL!

I mean I rather my kids have one of those with there lunch as a snack than some Twinkies or something.

I am with you people go to stop over thinking it. If you are transistioning don't be so hard on yourself.

  • Thanks, I wondered the same thing with stevia. It must be processed to some degree to no longer be green. Oh, you turned me on to honey and tahini. Never thought to combine the two. Yum, yum!

  • what about other raw bars? like ones that are 100% raw?

  • good advice, so true! a transition food...but better not even to start with it if you want optimal health...it becomes addicting and it's devoid of water.
