  • I posted this on a Science News article about Ardipithecus Ramidus, a human ancestor. They made the unsurprising finding that the common ancestor of chimpanzee and man was as different from a chimpanzee as it is from a man.

    This video shows how hanging from trees produces an upright posture. It's much easier to go from that to bipedal walking than to go from four legs to two. I think we see here something coincidentally similar to Ardipithecus' immediate ancestor.
