Read the rest of my posts genius. The hole was plugged. It was a junk part anyway. The Helix TBS is a better product with no NOS holes to plug, and bolts that fit. The P2R bolts are wrong for a 2007 Si sedan...and they keep selling them that way.
After reset of the ECU/MAF sensor, with the TBS installed the car will not run smoothly...RPM's all over the place, then it will just stall. The little plastic plug on the bottom side is plugged. Take out the TBS and just run with either gasket, and the car runs fine. I've given up on the TBS at this point...not bothering with it this season. Time/energy will go into a CT Supercharger when the money is available.
Didn't work for me. I "think" the TBS makes it so my intake's arm cannot seal correctly against the throttle body, thus causing a vacuum leak at the elbow.
I'm not wasting anymore time on it, as it's only supposed to produce 1-3 hp, which I don't care about. It's a part at this point I've spent way too much time on vs anything else...not worth it at this point.

Won't idle. Car revs up and down and won't run for more than 10 seconds without having your foot buried on the gas. It's almost like a vacuum leak...but I've found no vacuum leak.
YOUR A FAILURE!
how can you mess this up? Did you forget the plastic nipple thing they give you to put INPLACE of the """"NOS"""" hole?
check my vids my car booooooooooooks

well that might be a problem. turning the car on, and not letting it idle for at least 10 seconds fucks your shit up

It won't idle at all genius. If you turn it on, it stops about 3 seconds later.
It was the problem with the TBS itself. Bought a different brand without the stupid NOS hole on the bottom, and it runs fine.

I may be a little late but what exactly is the issue, I may be able to help can't guarantee but you know I can try.

What is "the rev cord thing"?
bwilliam13 2 years ago
Which one? The one upstream from the MAF is attached to the short ram intake...it shouldn't be affected. Is there another that I'm missing?

It only goes on one way...otherwise the bolt holes don't line up.
