As Memorial Day draws near, let us remember what it is about. It's more than going to the lake or beach or swimming pool or cooking out and eating Bar-B-Que. It is a time to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice so that we can live in peace and freedom. On April 1, 1945, my uncle was killed in action in Germany. I never got to know him, but I will always appreciate his sacrifice. God Bless America.

I figured it was there.. the house across the street looks a bit different than my memory.. probably just fresh paint and changing trees.. I lived where 69 and 96 meet (the stop sign).. 219 main.. we turned it from an ex-gas station to a store.

Man... I really miss the 'cliffe. What corner did you shoot that from.. things look different than they did in my early 80s memory.. the Sangres look great.

On the main drag, just a block west of 69. Actually, the "downtown" area was really packed. I shot here just to have some room. It was a very nice day.
