My bunny, Sweep, is an agouti (colour) lop too and she is just over 10yrs old. It's amazing how much they understand and it's sad that their intelligence is overlooked. My Sweep was very attached to my grandfather and when he recently passed away, she grieved just like us. She waited outside his gate for months and even tried to dig a hole to get into his yard, it was so sad.
I remember when my pet rabbit died,it was like losing a best friend, he was extremly tame & remember he used to follow around the garden & through the house!
it's a beautifull movie of your lovely cute rabbit. i've also lost two of my lovely rabbits, the vet had to let them die because they were ill. that's very hard. but now i've got a new rabbit, i've got movies on youtube of him =D

dont let him chew paper,buy him a mineral stone from the pet store so he has something to chew and as for the mimi cat litter, i wouldnt risk myself, he can eat those silica gel and get sick..

aww thats so sad! my rabbit had to get put down last year because she had a wound on her chest that got infected and it was really hurting her so we just decided to get her put down when the infection spread to her front legs. :'( :'( aww its so sad!

aww poor thing. When I adopted my bunny they told me how awful that type of litter/bedding is for the bunnies and guinea pigs. I'm so sorry this had to happen. aah, I finally know what he is. Thank you! Did yours constantly have teeth that had to be cut? My poor lil bunny had to have surgery to remove his back ones which caused absesses in his cheeks. he looked horrible, but now much better!
I was thinking of using clay litter, but as I watched this, I decided to use recycled bedding. My rabbits are healthy as can be. Thank you for warning me.

probably for him, 5 years flied so fast. No clay litter or wood shedding, it;s very unhealthy for them, I for exemple, use yesterday's news litter, and its pretty good.
Yesterday's news is awesome. I also use these puffy spherical litters that look like packaging materials... they have various brand names and are quite soft.
Wow, my bunny looked just like that.... and he died also. it was so hard for me... i will never get over it. My rabbits name was jelly bean. =( i miss him so much.

I know too how hard it is too lose a bunny. Mother, father, baby all gone in one day. This was due to the heat and not knowing how to properly care for them. Now we've got a new male and female dwarf lops and this time round we won't be making the same mistake. We love our bunnies so much.
I'm sorry you had to learn the hard way on how to take care of a bun. I lost 3 young ones with mistakes I've made so I know how it can be. Good luck with your new one. I use this very good litter that is actually ground up corn husks that is edible.

your rabbits soo cute, almost looks like mine. Im sorry about your loss. im afraid about my rabbit dieing because my rabbit has a head tilt caused by an ear infection and only 50% of rabbits survive.
my rabbit had when he was young this kind of disease, the vet prescribed him some specific medication (ear drops) and in a few days he completely recovered :), dont worry, ear infections are not that bad as long as they are cured on time. go to your vet as soon as possible. good luck with ur bun!! xx

my bunny died at the vet..they scared him off to death probably (i dont know how that actually happen since they took him away to make a radiography to his lungs), but he was really ill :(. dont ever let the vets take away your pet without you! take great care of your bunny and he will live long :).

sorry for your loss.
mine died today with a gut stasis.
its when they get a fur ball stuck in there body and cant process food or drink properly and cant poo aswell.
so he eventually gave up and went to bunny heaven..

5 years old isn't so bad, some rabbits only have a life expectancy of 6 or 7 years, so it still lived a pretty full life.
still, very sorry for your loss.
It's not as bad when pets die of old age, but I couldn't handle it if my rabbit died because of something I gave it.

aww poor thing. When I adopted my bunny they told me how awful that type of litter/bedding is for the bunnies and guinea pigs. I'm so sorry this had to happen. Sometimes we end up learning valuable lessons the hard way. At least you are warning others about it. Your rabbit, I'm sure is at the rainbow bridge with my dear Biscuit

aah, I finally know what he is. Thank you! Did yours constantly have teeth that had to be cut? My poor lil bunny had to have surgery to remove his back ones which caused absesses in his cheeks. he looked horrible, but now much better!

I was thinking of using clay litter, but as I watched this, I decided to use recycled bedding. My rabbits are healthy as can be. Thank you for warning me.

probably for him, 5 years flied so fast. No clay litter or wood shedding, it;s very unhealthy for them, I for exemple, use yesterday's news litter, and its pretty good.

Yesterday's news is awesome. I also use these puffy spherical litters that look like packaging materials... they have various brand names and are quite soft.

Wow, my bunny looked just like that.... and he died also. it was so hard for me... i will never get over it. My rabbits name was jelly bean. =( i miss him so much.

I had a bun soooo like that called Pips who died at Xmas, a routine teeth op showed up a massive facial/jaw tumour..inoperable. I had him about the same time as you had Berby.....they stay in your heart forever. Thank you for sharing him with the world and allowing me to feel your love for him

I know too how hard it is too lose a bunny. Mother, father, baby all gone in one day. This was due to the heat and not knowing how to properly care for them. Now we've got a new male and female dwarf lops and this time round we won't be making the same mistake. We love our bunnies so much.

I'm sorry you had to learn the hard way on how to take care of a bun. I lost 3 young ones with mistakes I've made so I know how it can be. Good luck with your new one. I use this very good litter that is actually ground up corn husks that is edible.

i can see you love rabbits so im gonna post something in youre comment box.all over youtube people are putting horrifying video's of rabbits being put in cages of burmese pythons with no escape rout and being eten alive.i know this is natural for a animal and i know that the snake needs to eat but its actually illegle to feed a live animal to a pet....and its also an innapropriout thing to be posted on youtube without a warning. and paste PS: im not an animal freak.i just think its wrong.

I can see the love you had for your bunny. Mine has just turned 9 years old and I don't want to think about you know what. He has a bad leg, permanent damage caused by an abscess on his heel and has just developed cataracts but otherwise he's quite healthy. See my bunny's video and his blog bunnytheartist.blogspot

thank you very much for your comment:)...im sorry that your first bunny had passed away at a very young age :(, rabbits are sensitive animals. If we take good care they can live long. Just be vigilant with your bunnies, and they'll have a long happy life. The song is produced by the artist "Bliss" and it is called "Kissing". :)

your rabbits soo cute, almost looks like mine. Im sorry about your loss. im afraid about my rabbit dieing because my rabbit has a head tilt caused by an ear infection and only 50% of rabbits survive.

my rabbit had when he was young this kind of disease, the vet prescribed him some specific medication (ear drops) and in a few days he completely recovered :), dont worry, ear infections are not that bad as long as they are cured on time. go to your vet as soon as possible. good luck with ur bun!! xx

my bunny died at the vet..they scared him off to death probably (i dont know how that actually happen since they took him away to make a radiography to his lungs), but he was really ill :(. dont ever let the vets take away your pet without you! take great care of your bunny and he will live long :).
