Hey Seminole06 and all others, I actually saw Expose open for Lisa Lisa in the late 80's, 88 I believe, in Tampa. Awesome.

You know the funny thing was, that they blew away Lisa Lisa. When Lisa Lisa and the Jam came out to play, about 3 or songs into their session, the fans started Booing Lisa Lisa and the Jam.

Lisa was not only arrogant & "trying to act like a tease" during her song " I wonder if I'll take you home, etc.." that along with the suckness of the group, they were ritely booed.

Saw these girls in '85. They opened up for Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam, in Tallahassee. After Lisa Lisa started playing, about 3rd or so song, the crowd started booing Lisa Lisa.. because they really suc-ed. Lisa thought she was so hott and the crowd picked up on it and started booing her. Everyone started yelling/ chanting, "EXPOSE..EXPOSE..EXPOSE.." One of the coolest concert experiences I ever had.

WOW...awesome memories! There was a concert here in Hawaii this past Saturday nite.."Ladies of the 80's". Lisa Lisa, Sweet Sensation, and Expose. Me and my friends also "happened" to be eating dinner at the same "Kincaids" restaurant the night they arrived. Gotta say that they still looked beautiful, but Gioia looked different (if that was her). There were no paparazzi's there so we didnt want to disturb their dinner.

Yeah, Gioia had a benign tumor in her vocal chords at the time. The group wanted to wait for her to recover, but her health worsened and they finally had to replace her with Kelly Moneymaker.
