  • Larry King always looked old

  • 3) ...to them--mug shots?...jail time? i mean, doing what they did would certainly land one in jail, don't you think? let me try that one the next time my neighbor goes away to greece. yeah, i'd be in the joint pretty fast. strieber doesn't even think about it. anyway, what i'm getting at is that whitley strieber's stories are just stories. the man actually claims the alien squatter story is true and really happened. come on, he's either lying or is a nut ball. i'm not gonna buy his stuff.

  • 2) ...obviously, according to whitley's story, these aliens are indeed quite external to the human mind. what gets me is since whitley's so intelligent, why didn't he ask the condo owner if he could have permission to go in and collect evidence: cigarette butts, dirty dishes, utensils, bio material from a used toilet, shower, sink, garbage throw aways, etc.--all excellent sources for getting alien dna evidence. and why didn't he follow up with the police about who they were and what happened...

  • 1) whitley's best story is the one i recently heard him say in an interview about chain smoking, tobacco stealing, incompetent hot furniture dealing aliens who squatted in a condo next to him and his wife. the condo owner was away at the time. whitley and anne both saw the aliens stealing cigars, etc. at a confectionery store. he even saw them unsuccessfully trying to sell the condo owner's furniture. he finally called the condo owner who had the sheriff come and evict the aliens. ha! now...

  • I just finished reading breakthrough. I've believed in aliens for years and years. It just makes more logical sense to me that all this stuff is real than not. Especially when I look at how ridiculous our civilisation is and how vast the universe is.

  • Skeptics don't be turned off by this interview. You don't know what you're missing. Sure his books probably aren't true, but they are still awesome.

  • @Jayoung1000

shallow thought. remember, the scientific community of new york thought the plane was a hoax as things heavier than rock could not stay up in the air.

  • "If they had, none of those individuals would've said a word about it" Not true. People have died to tell about what they've witnessed, so what the hell makes him so sure of how people would react?

  • @ 0:23 - "I am talking to you about a real thing...I'm pretty sure." LOFL.....

  • Whitley Strieber is full of it. He's all about selling books, so he's 100% suspect. My book, my book, my book...He's a business man with a story to entertain. Now everything is ruined. Because today everyone has some type of Iphone on them with a nice powerful minicam. And i 100% chance that the Whitley Strieber's of the world have to change their new stories drastically with spin, that separates them from their cell camera's.The new stories will be anti cellphone cams.Common sense people!!!!!

  • @qqqTOXICqqq Then how come when he took a lie-detector test it was all true?

  • I am not convinced by this hypnotic regression, i think it is dangerous. Take Barbara Lamb for example (see Penn & Teller Bullshit Alien Abduction), what she is doing is a disgrace. You can easily see how some of these ideas would be "suggested" by the way she does it. (watch?v=qAMmiXra9Jo).

That said i do believe something happened to Whitley Strieber, i think he is sincere but as to what really happened i can't say (and neither can he interestingly enough), he doesn't say he is 100% certain

  • The problem i have is i believe there is something to the UFO phenomena and when i ask what that could be i can't rule out aliens as the cause. I am not saying i think it's definitely aliens only that it's a possibility when you consider the 5% of cases that can't be explained (a la COMETA and Nick Pope).

So if i concede that aliens are a possibility then is it too much of a stretch to think they just might be taking people in this manner? I really don't know.

  • @VoyagersOmni Oh i am sure there will be a website or something like that. The problem is that he is a well known figure and you would be lucky to get a message directly to Whitley Strieber. I am sure he is inundated with stuff all the time.

  • It takes a lot of balls to put your reputation on the line when you have already been successful in the public eye, who would do this unless they felt they had to speak out? He knew how most people will react. I have read both books and they are very probable. It doesn't read like sci fi. It reads like a plausible experience. Some think it's just an ingenious marketing ploy, but this man already had money so why would he humiliate himself for a buck?

  • @vv901vv901 You are incredibly ignorant, more UFO sightings come from Mexico and Russia than from the US. Brazil passed a law requiring all Brazilian airforce and commercial pilots to publicly report any UFO sightings.

  • Actually in the 1950s the White House was buzzed by a formation of large silver disks.

  • Good for Whitley - he wears his emotions on his sleeve - he was brave to come out with this. I feel badly that he has had threats - as he does not deserve it.

  • This interview was sheer hell for Whit. He was very brave to go through the media humiliation, and he wasn't even telling Larry the worst of it!

  • This interview took place near the very beginning of his publicly documented odyssey. Some of you have at least 22 years of catching up to do.

  • I felt like he was really nervous in this interview. It's almost like Larry was Interrogating him! Ugh...

  • Thanks for posting as I was not privy to seeing it when it first aired....
