actually its a bat that was sold in Australia a couple of years ago it is a gray nicolls fusion

It can be that thick cause it had a carbon fibre handle which made it lighter so they could then make it thicker. They stop making it cause they were having problems with te handle ... my mate has had his for 3 seasons now ... no problems yet.
