It's a SHOW! Get it? Yes, it may be staged somewhat, but it's a show. People PAY to watch it. Good acting and good camera angles make it fun. When it's really sloppy, then you can call it "fake". But this is good. It's no more fake than when GORT destroys the world in "The Day the Earth Stood Still".
