  • the 737 are retireing the a300s and the MD-80s :( I know that aa offers 737 routes from ORD to FLL and to LAS instead of the MD80 and 757.

  • how you hear the atc???

  • Via a portable airband receiver.

  • Beautiful !

  • I remember when AA DC-10 was standard on all flights to Chicago. The good ol days!!

  • It's probably heading to Miami.

  • when will AA retire the A300?

  • the 737 is replacing the MD80, not the A300, the 737 doesn't have near the capacity in the cabin nor in the cargo hold to replace the A300 where American uses them

  • Which plane u think they gonna put in the A300 place? The 757 maybe? AA have a ton of 757's to go around.

  • The 757 doesn't have the cargo capacity either, A300 wide body, 757 narrow, even in terms of seating it doesn't do what they need. I'm not sure what they would do, the 767 would size us close enough, but the A300 is a unique airplane

  • The 767 will replace the A300 on caribbean routes.

  • Yeah I know now after checking their website
