This was the best way for them to do research on humans due communication barriers and to avoid panic. In 1991 Devo left earth and the members were exchanged. The new arrivers continued the analysis of human moves under the influence of robot music under the pseudonyms Man Or Astro-Man? and Servotron.
I got to see them open for Rocket from the Crypt at the 40 Watt in Athens. they had homemade astronaut costumes on and one of the guys shaved his hair into a swirl. I was pretty trashed so I don't remember much. just that they knew one of my friends so they hung out for a bit till rocket came on. cool guys, awesome show. great live
