  • Than Shwe slammed the door on Ban's nose and Ban was mildly agitated. Ban is a soft puppy.

  • @1000wrongdecisions

seriously.. sending a showcase official to a showcase government...

  • I do have a suggestion how the rest of the world can put some pressure on the regime:

The burmese generals and their business cronies (like Tayza) do have bank accounts in Singapore (probably also in Hongkong and perhaps even Dubai). Well money does talk!

  • that's why their money is safe

  • @BrunoM175

So... your idea of bringing freedom is by forcibly taking other's material wealth (regardless of how it had been attained) based on concensual standards?

I believe that the kind of action you want to happen is one of fascism; it brings no more answers than whats happening already

  • prize sorry!

  • I really meant peace price and not pirze

    lol

  • The more the "West" isolates "Myanmar" (= Burma), the more it becomes "Miandian", a chinese protectorate. China (that includes Singapore & Hongkong) wants to become a global superpower. They are buliding a gas pipeline and naval faclities in Burma (string of pearls) The use their veto power in UNSC and they supply most of the weapons to the military junta. A Nobel peace price for ASSK and T-shirts by U2 are purely symbolic gestures. Guns and Money stil rule the word.

  • Interesting insights. I hope you continue to upload more videos about the international reporting. Thank you.

  • testing whether the NYTimes censors comments
