Do some quest & quit fighting some random dodo in the field. Belive me the fun was in doing quest from one city to another.

Nvm the battle system at first. Because it is too interesting after you have ranked different class.

Why is it that the ONLY monsters that anyone is fighting are these Dodo's, is it just because Beta is limiting or is SquareEnix getting lazy and those are all you get to fight?

@TheMiraclePoop I don't know who all you're referring to but with Dodos being in 2 of the 3 main starter zone areas available as Levequest targets you're going to see a lot of 'em. lol! They're currently one of the more difficult of mobs in the Lv1-12 range... not like there's many others, anyway. But yeah, they're quest targets and when they aren't they're a good source for exp with duo groups or more for those not doing quests. There's Goats, but they aren't Levequest targets.
