That M249 para and that M240B are missing the wrap-around heat shields. The M249 looks more like a regular FN Minimi and the M240 looks more like a regular FN MAG except with a synthetic stock.

Please, mister tpM91, you really should put in the video description some instructions on how to use the great properties of this mod that are introduced in your videos. Like the special menu used for transporting heavy MG's, how do you access it? And how do you change the grenade throwing mode? I know it may be a bit nooby to ask those but it would help if you'd just put the instructions in the description, since most of us use the default controls of the mod.

The ear ringing from the tank firing is realistic. But the sound isn't Its kinda more dull. Trust me, even pistol rounds to close can cause this horrible horrible deafness and slight ringing. And i hate it. I had s 44 round go off extremely close to me once, I was deaf in one ear for about five minutes. Woulda been dead if it was pointed differently.

@89Barty Are you talking about the ears ringing after an explosion or tank fire? In real life your ears would be ringing all day without hearing protection. Even with just rifle fire. I made the mistake of firing about 100 rounds out of an AK47 without hearing protection and my ears were ringing for 2 days.

As far as i know, if you wanna get Arma to run good on your system you should buy a good CPU as a priority, GPU is important too but for most simulations a decent CPU is way more important.

I'm curious: Do the weapons sound different depending on how close you are to the source of fire? For example, in real life, if you hear weapons going off, they sound more like a "pop" sound rather than the loud bang sound you hear when you're close by, and are far less damaging to the ears. Just wondering.

Yeah, PR is nice, I would be downloading v0.9 if my BF2 install was not messed up. Need to get a new copy. I would not say it is much better though, I think PR is slightly better than it. Also, If you cannot run ArmA at very high with those specs, I suggest virus scanning, coz that is not normal. What processor do you have? The game is extremely CPU intensive, so if you have lots of background processes running, it aint gonna help.
