Sprite-based graphics cannot age, mainly because it cannot improve more than it has even since the days of the SNES and other 16-bit consoles. Look at sprite-based games on the Nintendo DS. Does not look better than well designed SNES games, does it? Sure, you can add more fancy particles and whatnot, but that doesn't magically make the graphics better. Sometimes it makes it just look like crap, because they are relying on the special effects to make the game good.

It's weird that people say things about this games graphics. There is nothing dated about them. There are no flaws. It's a beautiful 2D game. It's certainly better looking than the awkward polygonal games that came out in the generation after. At least in my opinion.

It's still hard to believe that this game came out over 15 years ago. I remember the day when we first got it. I laid my eyes on it when my dad played it and I thought it was a fantastic game. Now that I have the DS version, I have already beaten it twice.

Masa and Mune were chumps to the Chrono Trigg team, they were mid level to 300 man army that was Chrono Cross. But I still love CC none the same....just damn, why did the robot have to be emo? I remember how blown away I was by this game the first time around. You'd let the tittle go and this tune would pop and the screen would slide from right to left showing various scenes...something we had never seen done on the Snes with such a great quality. You just knew you were in for a wild ride and wow...what a ride, never felt anything quite like it again.

i just played this game after my brother in law gave me zsnes (snes emulator) with this game in the ROMS, never heard of it before just was trying out the different ROMS. have to say it has made a spot in my all time favorite rpgs, and i play battlefield and cod so i am not just a fanboy. i apologize for "proheadshotgamer" who just his username made me fall out of my chair laughing, typical 13 year old who refuses to do anything than play fps games
