In the old testament, it does in fact say a man can divorce his wife if she's been unfaithful. That is the only reason God would accept. Says nothing about a woman divorcing the husband though.

Also, I'm a 5 year vet. Military men share very close quarters,it's wrong to force service members to share that space with gays if they would be uncomfortable doing so.

They also do understand that the world is cruel to gay people and would prefer their children not to be. Being gay, doesn't diminish who they are it enhances it when they're honest. No one should have to hide themselves like that--straight people say it's a choice but I dare anyone to tell me how it is a choice if you're not gay yourself!

Hey like I said earlier, you're a little too late because there are Heterosexuals, Homosexuals, and Bisexuals in the US Military so the "shower issue" is irrelevant. It's about the DADT policy forcing people to give their integrity and lie about who they are. It's about the legalization of open discrmination against tax payers who are Homosexuals & Bisexuals and wish to volunteer to serve their country. I would say this: If the military was willing to have separate boot camp and active duty living quarters for gay's just like they have for women, it may possibly work. If a woman is secure with her own sexuality, why not allow men to sleep next to her? Or how about lesbians and straight men? You would think that if both are attarcted to each other, it would increase morale? It doesnt. Women (mostly) would be against it. They would find it offensive, which is why its even worse amongst gay/straight men.
